Talking about the Company's achievements during the first half of the year and its future prospects with Andrei Rybakou, Director General of JSC Belaruskali.
- Andrei Alekseevich, the first half of the year is over, it's time to sum it up. What were these 6 months like in terms of Belaruskali's production activities?
- The first half of this year has been a period of steady work for the company. We have shipped the contracted volumes of potash fertilizers on time, both for export and for the domestic market. This confirms the high level of reliability of our supply and the stability of our logistics chains. We are exceeding last year's pace: potash fertilizer production during this period amounted to 105.3% of the 2025 level. This has allowed us to improve the welfare of our employees, including through increased wages. Let me remind you that the Collective Agreement is the main document guaranteeing the labor, social and economic rights of our employees. We fully implement this Agreement.
- How is Belaruskali currently operating? Do we expect similar results in the second half of the year?
- In the second half of the year, the Company entered the phase of planned major overhauls of its production facilities. In accordance with the approved schedule, in July one of the Production Units was stopped for repairs. By the end of the year, similar overhauls will also be carried out at other Production Units. These planned repairs aim to improve the reliability of production processes, which will ensure the stable and uninterrupted operation of the Company, as well as the fulfillment of production plans for output of end products.
- Will the repairs affect Belaruskali's output and obligations to customers?
- According to our estimates, during the major repairs, potash fertilizer production will decrease by approximately 0.5 million tons. At the same time, domestic supplies will remain stable until the end of the year, and the needs of Belarusian agricultural enterprises will be fully met.
- Belaruskali is consistently upgrading its production facilities, material and technical base, building new facilities and beyond...
- Absolutely. We continue to implement an investment project that is construction of the Darasinsky mine in the Lyuban District. This year we plan to commission the Sports and Recreation Complex for residents of Petrikov, the second city of Belarusian miners. We also continue to upgrade agricultural enterprises of Belaruskali-Agro Holding.
- Andrei Alekseevich, what would you like to say to the Company’s staff?
- I would like to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for your hard work, dedication and commitment to the success of our Company. Your understanding of the challenges we face, your team spirit and belief in the Company's success are truly inspiring. I wish everyone stability, trouble-free operations and the support of your colleagues and families."
