"Vision Zero" Week

The goal of "Vision Zero" Week is to ensure the safety and health of employees in the workplace and to prevent occupational injuries within the companies. This initiative serves as a foundation for the prompt identification of violations of occupational health and safety standards, enabling the development of measures to address and eliminate them.

The "Vision Zero" concept was developed by the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and unveiled in Singapore on September 4, 2017, at the XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at Work.

The primary objective of this concept is to organize a preventive approach that integrates three key areas: safety, occupational health, and employee well-being at all levels of production.

The "Vision Zero" concept provides a practical management tool: the Vision Zero Implementation Guide, which outlines seven "golden rules":

• To become a leader is to demonstrate commitment to principles.
• To identify hazards is to control risks.
• To define goals is to develop programs.
• To establish an occupational health and safety system is to achieve a high level of organization.
• To ensure safety and health at the workplace, including when operating machinery and equipment.
• To enhance qualifications is to develop professional skills.
• To invest in people is to foster motivation through engagement.

Implementing these rules will help employers reduce rates of workplace injuries and occupational illnesses.

During the week from September 21 to 27, our Company will conduct topical meetings, briefings, and meetings with work teams and responsible specialists. Practical cases will be reviewed, and a check of personal protective equipment will be carried out. Information will be provided also about the circumstances of workplace accidents, the state of working conditions and occupational safety at workplaces, and the existing risks of health damage.
