On 10 February started the tennis tournament "Open Championship of Children and Youth Sports School of the Primary Trade Union Organization of JSC Belaruskali" for the prizes of JSC Belaruskali. The event took place in the tennis arena of the Shakhtyor sports complex.
Young tennis players from Soligorsk, Minsk and Dzerzhinsk were on the court of the tennis arena SHAKHTYOR during two competitive days, February 10 and 11. The total number of participants was 41 athletes at the age of 8-9 years.
The opening ceremony was attended by the representatives of the Republican Public Organization "Belarusian Tennis Federation" represented by the Chairman Sergey Rutenko, his assistant Grigory Kosyachenko, Director of the Federation Sergey Laptsuyev and Deputy Chairman Irina Khripach.
The chief referee of the competition was Alexander Vasilevsky, a referee of the highest category.
Social Policy Director of JSC Belaruskali Igor Delendik made a welcoming speech and wished everyone a good game.
All tournament participants received starting bags from the tournament organizer JSC Belaruskali. The winners were awarded with diplomas, medals of appropriate degrees and valuable prizes.
