In January 2025, scheduled works on replacement of the multi-rope hoisting machine were launched at the hoisting section of the mine of the fourth ore department.
It is the first time a technical action of this scope has been carried out and involves the installation of new equipment at the +104-meter level. Moreover, the building structures and concrete slabs of the tower hoist will be replaced. The work will take about six months and is scheduled to be completed by July this year. The implementation of the project is of great importance for further improvement of the efficiency and reliability of the production process at the mine.
The reduction in potash fertilizer output caused by the large-scale works will not impact domestic consumers. Belaruskali will fully meet all agricultural needs for the upcoming sowing campaign.
