On the eve of the country's main holiday, a festive performance was held at the monument to the tank crew of Hero of the Soviet Union N.A. Zinoviev. Following tradition, it brought together veterans of the Great Patriotic War, our company's employees, and other concerned residents of the Soligorsk region, including the younger generation.
Before start of the festive performance, representatives of JSC Belaruskali headed by the management placed flowers at the monument.
The celebrations in Pogost continued with a festive performance. Congratulating those present, Director General Andrei Rybakou recalled the President's words: "Independence is the most precious thing we have. And memory is the strong thread that will always unite Belarusians". Andrei Rybakou expressed special gratitude to Klara Pasyuk and Elena Pekhtereva, former concentration camp prisoners and employees of the PU 3 and 4, who were able to attend the celebrations.
A moment of silence was observed in honour of heroes fallen during the Great Patriotic War.
Familiar to tears songs from the war years were heard on stage. Talented colleagues, children from Kindergartens No. 1 and No. 3 and their parents delighted the audience with their songs and dances.
