Dear employees and veterans of JSC Belaruskali! Dear colleagues!
Please accept our sincere congratulations on National Unity Day - a holiday that holds exceptional significance for us today.
Although we celebrate this date for only the sixth time, it is rooted in deep historical origins: September 17, 1939 proved to be a decisive moment in the nation’s destiny. By altering the course of tragic events and thwarting the plans of the Polish authorities to assimilate the indigenous population of Western Belarus, this day preserved the nation’s ability to exist and ushered in a new stage in the development of Belarusian statehood. At that critical juncture, our compatriots demonstrated unprecedented unity; they did not abandon their identity, did not lose their faith or did not forget their traditions, and in reclaiming what was rightfully theirs, they did not encroach upon what belonged to others.
Similarly, in today’s context, when we face unfair treatment and threats to our integrity and independence, we need to become stronger, more mature, and more responsible, and to make every effort to preserve the unity we have gained at a high cost. If we remember history and realize that the reunification of the Byelorussian SSR and Western Belarus was the starting point on the path to sovereignty, if we stand by each other, we will be able to preserve our independent Belarus and, through our work, help the country to develop and to grow stronger.
On this significant day, I wish each of you good health, your families - confidence in the future, and everything that we call by the beautiful Belarusian word "dabarbyt". May happy events take place in your homes, and may your children grow up under a peaceful sky, understanding that National Unity Day is a symbol of our strength!
